My name is János, and I was born & raised in the countryside of Hungary.
Since the age of 8 years, I have been interested in IT & Gaming Consoles as a kid.
My very first Computing Device was a Commodore 64 and a Nintendo 64 replica back in 1996.
I got my 1st Intel Celeron PC in 1999 as 14 years old youngster.
Building & Maintaining PC's, Modding Consoles, Repair bricked GPS & Satellite Devices... I was into basically anything as a youngster. :-)
I got into Mobile Phone refurbishment around 2011 and began refurbishing iPhones back in the 5S / 6 / 6S era.
When Apple started glueing the phones together and using glass on the back, I stopped the ReFurb, as I'd found it risky to perform before simple and cost-effective refurbishment.
The Passion was still in me, so I started selling on eBay in 2019, mostly micro-soldering consumables and used car parts from a well-known and reputable car dismantler company.
During COVID-19, there was a massive boom in the sales of used car parts and consumables for micro-soldering.
My mission was clear: to seek out only the most reputable suppliers of quality tools and consumables.
I wanted to ensure that every product I sold on eBay was of the highest quality, with very few faults, so that other small businesses and individuals could be confident in their purchases.
For 5 years, I've been a trusted seller on eBay, with a reputation score of 99 out of 100 and over 17,000 orders completed.
This success is a testament to my commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
It's alright, from a one-man operation like mine.
It is essential to source Consumables and tools from a reliable source. Consumables such as Soldering Paste should be stored at the right Temperature, not just on shelves, which shortens the Shelf Life of the Paste.
Despite the challenges, the one-man operation I started significantly grew over time.
This growth, while not without its issues, is a testament to the potential for success in this field.
One of the main issues I noticed was that the competition on eBay was undercutting my prices with subpar tools and slow delivery times.
The only way to compete and stay profitable would be to change the very core of my belief in quality tools and consumables and sell inferior products.
I decided that I could not do this, so I built the MicroSolderingSupplies.shop website and started moving some of my bigger customers over so that I could offer better prices without the eBay fees.
In 2025, I gonna set the company up as a Limited company.
Thank you for joining me on this journey today. I'm excited about the future and the potential to assist you with your repair needs. Here's to the road ahead!
